Normel Gilliam has proudly served Waxahachie ISD as the principal of Turner Pre-Kindergarten Academy since 2019. A native of East Texas, she began her career teaching middle school and high school science in Jefferson ISD and has served in campus administration since 2017.
Mrs. Gilliam earned a bachelor's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University.
She resides in Waxahachie with her daughter, Noelle, who attends school in WISD. Mrs. Gilliam is honored to lead Turner Pre-Kindergarten Academy and is committed to supporting its students, staff, and families while fostering a positive and enriching learning environment.
